I created the Irish Rose Collection in 2007 because I simply could not find anything in my local area or on line that matched my gift requirements. So… I made one. And it was the perfect gift I was seeking to give at the time. It was so well-received that I made another – and another, another… And the Irish Rose Collection was born.

My floral arrangements sell very well locally so I decided that I would open a web store and offer various selections on line. Compare -anywhere- (assuming that you can find anything close to the Irish Rose) at these special on-line prices.

These arrangements are -all- personally hand-crafted by me in my Las Vegas studio from imported materials individually-selected by me. There is no mass-produced off-shore stuff here!  Because each floral set  is  hand crafted, each one is unique, they are truly one of a kind.”

General Information

The stock used in all arrangements are ‘mid-range’ faux’ flowers and floral accents. “Silk flowers” though widely described, is a misnomer – almost 100% of the products are plastic (petroleum-based), acrylics or polyester fabric-based. My suppliers are the same as the major arts and crafts chain stores. Using mid-range floral products keep costs within reason and still present beautifully. If I used true ’silk’ flowers, the price points would be astronomical.

I feature two basic sizes of arrangements:

1)  The Original Red Irish Rose, Standard Irish Rose, Anniversary Rose;  the standard Spring and other seasonal sets stand between fourteen (14) and seventeen (17) inches tall and vary from about twelve to fourteen inches across – obviously depending on the type and style of arrangement. The typical arrangement weighs about one (1) pound, most of which is in the water effect in the base and of course the weight of the glass vase itself.  The bud vase for most all rose arrangements sets are recycled Cincinnati Glass  ™ products.

2)  All of the above-described rose arrangement products are, depending on availability,  created in  a smaller  ‘mini’ version; or  little sisters. The Mini Sets range between eight (8) and twelve (12) inches high and are about six (6) to ten (10) inches wide, again depending arrangement style. The Mini Sets weight generally about a half pound. The vases in most all cases are new Anchor-Hocking  ™ products however when I find unique lovely vases in thrift shops, antiques stores, boutique shops and the like; I enjoy making a special mini arrangements that accent and compliment special and unique pieces.  Such variations will be noted in the product information when a recycled vase product is featured

So again, the standard set rose bud vases are recycled Cincinnati Glass, Inc. vases – which keeps costs down and adds even greater special character to the product. The mini vases are new Anchor-Hocking products except where noted - ALL glass, no plastic and absolutely –  -  No mass-produced  junk

I use only the  most excellent of acrylic craft  products for the vase water effect: either “Everlasting Elegance’ ™ or “Quick Water” ™ depending on the effect I want (Champagne pour, etc). These products are expensive (currently around 13-14 dollars wholesale for 14 oz) but the quality produced is beautiful. I do not use commercial (auto body shop or marine) acrylics found in most offshore produced and imported products.
